We’re Growing With You

Over the past few weeks, I had several conversations with clients who said, “I didn’t know you offered that” or “I didn’t know you could help me with that” or “I didn’t know you recruited for that.”

Evidently, I’ve been ineffective in communicating with our clients about the many ways we can support you. As the economy and the labor market have changed over time, so has Team Builder. We continue to look for new ways to support your business growth. Here are just a few of the ways we can serve you in your team building journey:

  1. Salary Research. This is included for free if you are starting a search. If you want to use it internally to assess your pay scale for your team or as part of budgeting for a new position, we charge $300 per report. We pull data from a variety of sources as well as look at what local companies are offering for similar job titles. We can also help you think through if your benefits plan is in line with your competition and how to adjust your salary accordingly.

  2. Business Connections. Because we work with so many different businesses, we often can make recommendations. If you are looking for a retirement plan, health benefits, payroll provider, criminal background checks, drug testing, marketing services, business coaching, sales training, etc., please check with us. We can often make suggestions about resources to help you grow your business. And we do not take kickbacks for referrals; we offer them because we want to serve our clients well!

  3. DISC Assessments and DISC Workshops. On the candidate side, we can provide Talent Insights Reports as part of the interview process. These reports look at personality profiles as well as motivators and provide a summary for each candidate. We can run them even for candidates who do not come through our search process at a cost of $99 per report. We also offer DISC workshops that can be used for team building with a department within your organization or with the entire company. These workshops are a fun way to work on communication skills and emotional intelligence, as participants develop an understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of others on the team. Call or email for pricing on our DISC Workshops.

  4. Job Descriptions. While you will need to iron out the details of your specific role, we can help you generate a first draft of a job description that will serve as a starting point. We’ve found that giving our clients a starting point saves hours of valuable time. We have a whole database of templates, and we’re generating new ones all the time. We can also help narrow down which job title will best match the role and reach the most qualified candidates. Just let us know if you need help with this. This service is free if you are starting a search.

  5. Interview Questions & Interview Process. Do you feel like your interview process is a little out of step or maybe not as thorough as you’d like it to be? Schedule a call with us to discuss it in more detail. How many interviews? Who should be there? What questions should you ask? How do you assess for company culture or a particular personality trait? We love to strategize with you on these topics.

  6. Entry-Level to C-Suite. Interestingly, we came to realize that some clients associated us with only office jobs or, similarly, others thought we only did labor jobs. Some thought we only did managers while others had no idea we did upper-level management searches. Our focus has been to stay sharp on best practices for job marketing and candidate outreach while getting to know our clients and their unique company culture. We handle positions ranging from “entry-level with on-the-job-training” to “highly skilled craftsman.” We can help you hire for sales, customer service, accounting, marketing, HR, and more, and we are willing to recruit all the way to the top of your organization with VP or C-Suite positions.

  7. Job Offers. We have an offer letter template that can be used to create your job offer. You can also reach out to us to strategize about what to offer or if your total offer will be competitive. Sometimes it’s a simple change, like offering an extra week of PTO that can sweeten the offer for that candidate that you absolutely want on your team!

We value customer feedback. If you think we could support your growth in an area, let us know. Even if it’s not a service we currently offer, we may be able to connect you with someone who does offer it. And maybe it’s something we kick into development and will add it to our list of services for the future.
