What’s New for 2024?

2024 is just a couple of weeks away, and Team Builder Recruiting is excited to announce a few upcoming changes and additional service offerings.

Salary Research
While we've always supported our clients with salary research, in 2023, we improved and streamlined our salary reports to serve our clients better.

  • If you are interested in launching a Hiring Support or Full Partnership Search, our Salary Research Report will be available at no additional fee.

  • If you are looking for salary research to ensure you are paying your team competitively or are considering starting a search but aren't sure that this new role will be "in budget," you can request this as a stand-alone service. The cost is $299 per report.

  • If you pay for a Salary Research Report and decide to launch a search for that position within three months of requesting the report, you will get a $300 credit.

Sample Job Descriptions

If you are adding a new role to the team and don't know where to start with a job description, just connect with your recruiter! We'll provide 2-3 sample job descriptions to get you started on building a job description specific to your company and team.

Suggested Interview Questions

If you've read our other emails/blogs, you know we're big advocates for pre-planned interview questions. Over the last year, we've been working on building out sample interview questions for different types of roles. Just let your recruiter know if you'd like a list of suggested questions for your position.

More strategy

In 2024, we've increased our focus on the strategy side of recruiting and being available to consult with our clients about the labor market and candidate behavior. The recruiting team meets twice a month to learn and grow together. We always designate time to discuss "What's the beat on the street?" What candidates are moving, what industries are picking up or slowing down, and are there any trends in candidate behavior? We use this shared knowledge to better guide and inform our clients.

Slight Price Increase

Recruiting is not immune to inflation; we've seen some cost increases this year. The price for our Hiring Support Service will increase slightly to $2599, effective January 1.

Starting your search in December rather than waiting for January can be a strategic move. As business leaders return from the holidays, January is a busy month for posting jobs. With slightly fewer job ads running, your job ad will have less competition. And YES, job seekers are still moving even during the holiday season. The week between Christmas and New Year is a great time to start your search if you want to avoid interviewing in December. For example, a job ad posted on December 27 would mean the first round of candidates will be submitted to you the first week of January.

Job Ad Prep

If you plan to hire for certain positions in January or February of 2024, connect with your recruiter this month to get the job ad prepped and ready. You can also schedule a start date if you have one in mind. January is typically a busy month with a lot of new searches starting. Schedule a time in December to prep everything and ensure you are a priority search in 2024. We will charge a $300 fee for the job ad prep that will be credited back to you when you start the search.
